Start time: Wednesday, June 22, 2016 –  12:00 a.m.
End time: Thursday, June 23, 2016 –  8:00 p.m.

Prayer Objective: Praying for guidance over the land purchase to determine which lot to pursue (840 E. Washington St.) or (York Street) and offer amount.

Directions:

Foods that can be consumed are listed as part of the Daniel’s Fast.

  • Wednesday
    • Prayer: Commitment to prayer at least three times during the day (once morning, once after noon, and once evening).
    • Food & Drink Directives
      • Breakfast – All foods and drinks on the list
      • From Noon – 6:00 p.m. – Liquids Only From the List
      • Dinner – All foods and drinks on the list
  • Thursday:
    • Prayer: Commitment to prayer at least twice during the day (once morning, once early afternoon before the evening meeting.)
    • Food & Drink Directives
      • Breakfast – All foods and drinks on the list
      • Lunch – All foods and drinks on the list
      • 8:00 p.m. – Fast ends

List of Foods and Drinks

VEGETABLES (should form the basis of the diet)

Fresh or cooked
May be frozen and cooked but not canned

FRUITS (consume in moderation 1-3 servings daily)

Fresh and cooked
May be dried like raisins or apricots (no sulfites or added oils or sweeteners)
May be frozen but not canned

WHOLE GRAINS (consume in moderation and ideally sprouted)

Brown Rice, Quinoa, Millet, Amaranth, Buckwheat, Barley cooked in water

May be consumed from can as long as no salt or other additives are contained and the only ingredients are beans and water

On the Daniel Fast, you should not consume any of the other foods or beverages listed below. And, I want to mention that on the Daniel Fast some allow sea salt or himalayan salt and others do not.
