Speaking The “Fruitful Things”
Proverbs 18:20 A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
Today we are going to share our family faith confessional with you. As our text states, satisfaction comes from the “fruit of your mouth.” Also, our text tells us that as you increase in speaking the “fruitful things,” more “fruitful things” will come. In other words, we get filled with the satisfying things and not killed by the things trying to bring us down.
Your change starts in your mouth. Confession lead to procession which leads to possession. If you speak whatever you desire enough, you’ll start believing that it is attainable. This is why Romans 10:17 says, “Faith cometh by hearing.”
Now there are a lot of people who will say, “Bro. Yon, I have a lot of faith.” Quite honestly, them having faith doesn’t mean a hill of beans if they don’t use the faith they have. Therefore, we need to exericse/put to use our faith; and confession is a wonderful practice of faith. It stirs up the gift inside of you, releases the promises of the spiritual realm into the physical realm and confirms to the devil that he will not reign or rule over your situations and circumstances.
So this day I challenge you to confess things of God over your life. Confess that you are the head only and never the tail, above only and never beneath. Confess that you walk in the favor of God and man. Confess the salvation of Jesus over relatives that others have given up on. Confess that money doesn’t just follow you, but it runs you down and runs you over. Confess that you walk in the divine health of the Lord. Confess that God’s rest is upon you while you sleep at night. And Confess that in every situation you will have the peace that passes all understanding.
The choice is yours….
You can name it and claim it….
or doubt it and do without it…
The Yon Family Faith Confession
This is the day that the Lord has made,
we shall rejoice and be glad in it!
This is the day of victory and vision,
possibility and provision.
This day my spirit is led by the Holy Spirit;
my mind is open to the direction of the Holy Spirit.
My mind will think the things that are true,
the things that are honest,
the things that are just,
the things that are pure,
the things that are lovely,
the things that are of good report with virtue and praise. My flesh is under submission to the will of God
and my life is to glorify the Son of God, Jesus Christ, the Anointed One and His anointing. Whatever my hands find to do, they will do so with all their might
because my work represents my God, and my God is Excellent;
therefore I will be excellent.
My mouth shall speak only of things that are of a good report,
and I will only speak the truth until my facts line up with the truth. This day I walk in the favor of God and men; no matter where I go, I am found with favor. I was born to be the head only and never the tail,
above only and never beneath,
to see the goodness of God in the land of the living
and to live the abundant life that Jesus paid the price for me to live. And I will constantly, consistently, and continually
proclaim in every circumstance and situation that
“My Good is Better and My Better Is Surely Blessed!”
