Romans 10:9 tells us “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and
believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you
will be saved” (NIV).
According to this scripture, there are only two requirements
to becoming saved through Jesus Christ — (1) Confession
and (2) Belief that (Jesus) died for you on the cross, that He rose again from
the dead (resurrection), and that He is the Son of God.
Again, the only requirement here is for you to believe it.
You don’t have to prove it; just believe it.
By confessing your belief that Jesus is God and
believing that confession in your heart, you are saved and
heaven bound!
If you have not confessed Jesus as your Lord and Savior
and would like to, then you can do so by saying the following
prayer:
Jesus,
I believe that you died for me and rose from the grave. I
believe that you have the power to save me from living
forever in hell. And I believe you have the power to
forgive me of my sins. So I ask you, Jesus, to forgive me
of my sins and to save me today from living forever in torture.
I also ask that you come into my heart so that I can
live on earth the way you want me to. Thank you so much
for giving me a new life this day – Amen!
